AUCTIONEERS are offering a free opportunity for residents to see how much cash is in their attic.

Warwick and Warwick is holding a free valuation day at the Chatsworth Hotel in Grand Parade on January 24 (11am to 3pm). The national firm of auctioneers will have experts in coins and banknotes, stamps, medals, militaria, postcards, cigarette cards, die-cast toys, models and model railways at the seafront hotel.

Residents are advised that any black and white photos, pictured, can fetch between £5 and £50 each. Coin collections are also fetching high prices, especially those made of gold as its value has rocketed in recent months.

Home collections can also be arranged if items are particularly large. Call Warwick and Warwick on 01926 499031.
