IRISH dancing and badge making were just some of the attractions on offer at the Redoubt for the annual Play Day.

More than 150 people attended the event and were treated to a range of activities and performances including an Irish dance from Year 5 pupils from Ocklynge Primary School, which was taught and choreographed by Year 8 students from Ratton, displays by Ratton Stomps, Circus Monkeys, as well as interactive performances inside the museum.

Visitors could also have a go at stomp, circus, mosaic making, flag and badge making, flag communication, and the opportunity to become a living part of a museum display.

The project is part of the My Playground initiative, a collaboration between Ratton and Cavendish Community Arts and Compass Community Arts.
