LEE Hook and Jay Lovett are among five players released by Eastbourne Borough.
Allan Tait, Pat Harding and Jacob Mingle have also left Priory Lane at the end of the club's first season in the Blue Square Premier.
Goalkeeper Hook, who made 312 appearances for Sports after signing from Sittingbourne in 2003, turned down the offer of a new deal.
Utility player Lovett, one short of 150 appearances for the club, has been released by boss Garry Wilson, alongside strikers Tait and Harding and midfielder Mingle.
Striker Jack Jeffery, who scored three goals in 14 appearances during his loan spell, has returned to West Ham United.
