MUM, dads, aunts, uncles and family dogs took part in St Andrew’s School’s annual charity walk at the weekend.
Pupils, teachers and their friends and family put their best foot forward for St Wilfrid’s Hospice and Eastbourne’s Rotary Clubs.
Mayor of Eastbourne Carolyn Heaps set the walkers off from the Meads school. They walked to Belle Tout lighthouse where they had the chance to get a minibus back or continue for a longer walk. Participants could choose to take part in a three-mile route, a six-mile walk or an 11-mile hike.
Walkers returned to St Andrew’s School after the hike for a well-earned barbecue.
The annual charity walk has been running for nearly 30 years.
