Heroin found in caravan at Pevensey

Three men have been arrested after a large amount of heroin was found in a caravan in Pevensey Bay.

Officers were searching for a wanted man on Saturday (11 April) at 2.20pm when they made the discovery at the site on Pevensey Bay Road.

Following a search of the caravan, two bags of the class A drugs were found with an estimated street value of more than £10,500, along with various items of drugs paraphernalia.

A 44-year-old man from Pevensey and two Hailsham men aged 37 and 41 were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug.

They are currently on bail until June 19.
