A BLACK tie charity evening is taking place on Eastbourne Pier next month to raise money for Help for Heroes and the Tuesday O’Hara Fund.
The Party on the Pier is on Saturday March 12 in the Ocean Suite as part of a nationwide celebration of Britain’s piers and their heritage during British Tourism Week. Fans of Eastbourne are being invited to get together for the unique celebration of British tourism with a three-course meal, breathtaking coastal views. Toploader support winners Hold Fire geared up to provide after dinner entertainment. Eastbourne Borough Council tourism spokesman Neil Stanley said, “What a fantastic celebration this is shaping up to be. We are delighted to be working closely with Eastbourne Pier which is organising this special event and joining a national celebration of Britain’s tourism industry.” Tickets for the evening are on sale now for £50 per person or at a special offer price of £450 for a table of 10. Help for Heroes is the national charity which provides support for servicemen and women and the Tuesday O’Hara Fund is an Eastbourne-based charity giving help to young people with cancer.
