The Matthew 25 Mission Music Group are the latest to take part in Herald Showcase this week.
The group currently consists of a lead guitarist and singer, second guitarist and bass player. However, the music group is open to everyone who uses the Matthew 25 Mission Centre and its members change regularly.
Matthew 25 Mission is a Christian outreach centre which supports vulnerable people including those suffering with addiction and homelessness.
The project runs from Brodie Hall in Seaside and gives out free meals, clothes and other assistance for people in need.
The music group is just one way Matthew 25 Mission helps and supports people in the community.
When the music group performed its blues number in the office this week, the second guitarist had only been playing with the band for just over a week.
Matthew 25 Mission has a keyboard and a violin for others who come to the centre and are interested in music.
The charity will be holding an event on July 13 at its Brodie Hall base.
Various agencies will have stands and there will be entertainment. The music group will play at the event and there will also be martial arts displays. It will take place between noon and 5pm.
