Helping others with the Bible

JEHOVAH’S Witnesses from Eastbourne and who are deaf are taking part in a special initiative to help people understand the Bible.

They will be in the Arndale Centre to demonstrate and distribute sign language DVDs to enable them to learn more about the Bible.

The group members, together with others who have learnt British Sign Language, are using Eastbourne as a pilot project and hope to reach 1,300 deaf people in the area. The Eastbourne congregation also supporst groups who speak Portuguese, Polish and Farsi who meet at Kingdom Hall.
