THE RESIDENTS and friends of Bernard Baron Cottage Homes enjoyed a summer fête last week.
Cuddly toys, name the teddy and jewellery were just some of the stalls on offer.
There were also refreshments including strawberries on offer. The oldest resident, Harry Newey, 100, planted a plum tree in the grounds of the homes to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee.
The planting was done by Harry with the Mayor of Polegate, Malcolm Cunningham, as part of the fête.
