A NEW carnival queen has been crowned for Hailsham. Toni Sefton was picked following the third coronation of Lark In the Park Hailsham Carnival Queen event.
The judges were mayor Councillor Robyn Kempe, Caroline Kempe, Councillor Stella Henshaw and also Ruby Hamadai, the outgoing carnival queen. Compere and interviewer for the evening was Mike Hooper and also present at the event was one of Lark in the Park’s patrons, Dec Cluskey of The Bachelors.
The evening began with meeting the entrants for the Fairy Princesses. Frankie Clarke, Terri-Loise Clarke, and Mellissa Sewell were chosen to represent the under tens.
After deliberation the judges chose Toni Sefton as queen and the princesses as Robyn Teague and Amelia Light. Commended for her entrance was runner up Kelly Hewitt.
