A SPECIAL visitor flew in to bring some festive cheer to children in Hailsham over the weekend as part of Hailsham Santa Day organised by children’s charity Lark In The Park.
The town was transformed into a winter wonderland complete with a Santa’s grotto in Costa Coffee where girls and boys received a present from Father Christmas.
Little ones also had the chance to meet a range of other Christmas characters including a giant snowman and Mother Christmas.
Hailsham’s Carnival Queen Ruby Hamadai was also on hand to help collect donations on the day which raised £455 for children with disabilities.
Younger visitors also enjoyed a range of entertainment including a fun fair and rifle range before sampling a range of treats from hot dogs and chestnuts to candyfloss.
