A GROUP of slimmers have lost pounds in order for a charity to gain some.
Seaford Weight Watchers members cleared out their wardrobes of clothes that are now too big for them and donated them to the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
The fundraiser tied in with healthy heart month and the charity’s 50th birthday.
As well as the group at the over-60s club in Sutton Corner donating 40 bags of clothes for BHF to sell they also held raffles throughout February.
Leader Sally Evans joined the team in 1991 and lost 86lbs, and has been awarded the gold cup for the second year running for getting the most members to their goal in her region.
