Students at Moira House Girls School in Eastbourne have been smiling, as the girls collected their GCSE results.

The girls performed well above their predicted grades with 20 per cent of all grades being A*.

Around 83 per cent of the girls acheived five or more A* to C grades.

Top studen Hannah Cory achieved A*s in all 10 of her chosen subjects.

Hannah was thrilled with her results, and said that all her dreams had come true.

James Sheridan, Principal of Moira House, is delighted with the girls’ achievements this year.

He said, “Our Year 11 students have achieved considerable success in their GCSE and iGCSE examinations and I am delighted by these results.

“Our girls work extremely hard in school and these public examinations are a real milestone in their academic careers.

“It is pleasing to see their efforts rewarded by so many excellent grades across the board.

“Our girls seize every opportunity to excel in all areas of school life during their time at Moira House and we are immensely proud of all their achievements.”
