Local traders are wanted to set up stalls at the Age UK East Sussex Summer Fair which will be held on Sunday July 5.

The charity is keen to attract traders for its food and craft market and Love Later Life Zone at the event, which will be held on the Western Lawns on Eastbourne seafront from 11am to 6pm.

A spokesperson for Age UK said: “With 10,000 expected visitors, this is a fantastic opportunity to promote and sell your products and services.

“With spaces selling fast please call the events team now on 01273 646808 to book your place.”

Age UK East Sussex said this would be a family fun day with something for all ages including a funfair, live music and entertainment, a dog show and horse rides.

There will also be food and craft stalls, a tea garden and a beer tent, plus other local charities and service providers will be attending to spread the word about their activities.

Lizzy Chapman, Age UK East Sussex marketing and fundraising coordinator said: “I’m so pleased to invite local people, whatever their age, to our Summer Fair and urge them to save the date, Sunday 5 July 2015, for THE Eastbourne event of the summer season.”

Age UK East Sussex is an independent, locally-focused charity led by the needs and aspirations of those in later life.

The group said its vision is that East Sussex would be a county where people in later life flourished.

This is the second summer fair organised by Age UK East Sussex.

The first event was very successful with some 5,000 people attending. It is hoping to raise at least £10,000 at the fair.

It will also raise awareness about the services it provides.
