One of Eastbourne Homes’ longest serving members of staff is retiring after 22 years of dedicated service.
Brenda Tuohy joined the council in 1991 as a rent administrator and later became leasehold administrator, a position which she has held for 14 years.
When Eastbourne Homes Limited (EHL) was formed to manage the council’s housing stock, Brenda became part of that team and continued in her role.
Brenda was presented with a bouquet of flowers to say thank you by Mike Hanlon, chair of Eastbourne Homes Ltd’s Leasehold Panel, and Eastbourne Homes Ltd board chair and vice chair Roger Eastwood and Sue Parsons.
Brenda said, “I will miss my colleagues and the time in the office. I have enjoyed dealing with the public about numerous matters and have found my work extremely interesting. Eastbourne Homes has been an excellent place to work and I have lots of fond memories.”
Eastbourne Homes interim chief executive Tim Harris said, “We are grateful to Brenda for her good nature, fairness, spirit and unfailing enthusiasm for her job. We will miss her professional expertise and friendship and wish her success and happiness in her future endeavours.”
Eastbourne Homes Ltd provides housing services to council tenants and leaseholders.
