Firefighters tackle Pevensey car fire

Firefighters were called to Pevensey last night (Wednesday, May 18) after a car caught fire on the A259 roundabout.

Crews from Pevensey Fire Station were called to the roundabout at 10.29pm shortly after the car accidently caught fire.

They used breathing equipment and a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze before leaving the scene.
