Firefighters raced to the scene of a rush hour crash in East Dean amid fears that people may have been trapped.
Two vehicles collided at Friston Hill just after 5.15pm this afternoon (Tuesday May 26).
Arriving on the scene, firefighters discovered that no one was trapped and crews set about making the vehicles safe and clearing the scene before they were stood down.
South East Coast Ambulance Service was also called to the accident.
