Eastbourne based law firm Stephen Rimmer has been unveiled as the new sponsor of the Eastbourne Festival for 2013 and the following year.

Eastbourne Festival is an open access arts festival that takes place annually for three weeks from easter Saturday each year.

Now in its sixth year, the festival has become recognised as an annual showcase for local professional and amateur talent. It is now attracting participation and interest at regional, national and international levels. Next year’s Eastbourne Festival will be held on March 29 to April 21 2013.

Stephen Rimmer LLP Solicitors has been established in Hyde Gardens, Eastbourne, since 1981 and will be hosting an information point at its offices, where visitors will be able to find information and literature on events held during the festival.

Bob Bastian at the law firm said, “Stephen Rimmer LLP are delighted to be supporting Eastbourne Festival for the next two years. We look to support events such as this; it’s our way of helping to give back to the local community, which has helped to support our business over many years.”

Eastbourne Festival’s organisers are equally delighted with their new alliance.

Victor Potter, the festival director said, “We are all very happy to be working with Stephen Rimmer LLP Solicitors on their sponsorship of such a great event. With their help, we will be able to continue to build the profile of Eastbourne Festival and establish it as a prominent coastal festival.”

Anyone who feels able to organise a suitable festival event or Artist’s Open House is encouraged to participate. It enables all strands of the arts, from whatever part of the town, to be drawn together once a year to showcase their work with others, including local, regional, national and international professionals, to network with other associations from within the town and outside it and to further expertise by participating in workshops.
