AGE Concern Eastbourne is looking for photogenic people of all ages – from pre-teens to pensioners – to take part in a photo shoot.
The images will then be used in a poster campaign to raise awareness of the charity.
The idea is to help show the benefits to all the family when older members are happy and cared for.
Young people, teenagers, the middle-aged and older people are all needed for this poster campaign.
Ray Blakebrough, business development manager of AGE Concern Eastbourne, said, “We’re looking for local people who are happy to feature in a range of posters designed to help promote our work.
“We’re Eastbourne’s own totally independent charity for people over 50, and this poster campaign is going to help raise awareness of the huge range of activities and services which go on at the Venton Centre in Junction Road – and how AGE Concern Eastbourne works to benefit our community.
“People are pleasantly surprised when they walk through our door. But not enough over 50s know about the place.
“At the Venton Centre, there is a wide range of services and activities to help and support the over 50s both practically and socially.
“It’s a wonderful atmosphere here. While some people just drop by for coffee, others treat the centre as a home from home.
“We have everything from computer classes to art classes, from financial advice to hairdressing, film shows, discussion groups, help with shopping, a day club – there’s an awful lot more on offer than a great cappuccino.”
The auditions will be held at the Venton Centre.
