Eastbourne Speakers' Club - Dec Cluskey is new president
THE first part of the evening saw three prepared speeches by Meg Hayworth, Dec Cluskey and Clare van Zyl.
The regular education session was presented by Dec Cluskey on using body language during your speech.
Following on from the new committee announced at the previous meeting, Dec Cluskey formally took over as president. Further information regarding club officers can be found on the website.
Eastbourne Speakers is a branch of Toastmasters International and aims to improve communication and listening skills among its members. A regular club night allows members to practise their public speaking skills and receive feedback.
