A 36-year-old man from Eastbourne has been arrested today (Saturday, May 14) in relation to his postings on a pornographic website.

Sussex Police said the man’s computer was taken following the arrest.

Superintendent Nick May said: “Officers arrested the man at lunchtime and he is to be questioned for encouraging a sexual offence against a child under 18, and malicious communications after police made a detailed search of a website. His computer has been seized as part of this investigation.

“This is an ongoing inquiry on which I cannot comment further at this stage.

“We take all reports of offences of this nature seriously and if anyone feels they are a victim of this type of crime, we would encourage them to contact 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101.”
