Firefighters were called to an electrical fire at an Eastbourne property.

Two fire engines rushed to the address in Hudson Close around 7.20pm yesterday evening (Tuesday).

Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and carbon dioxide to tackle the flames, said a spokesperson for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

UK Power were also requested to attend and the power supply was isolated, the ESFRS spokesperson added.
