Eastbourne firefighters called out after strong winds

Scaffold boards which came loose after strong winds outside a house in Eastbourne prompted a call out for firefighters last night (Sunday).

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to reports of a dangerous structure in Tanbridge Road, Langney, at 8.44pm.

The aerial appliance from Eastbourne was mobilised to the scene where scaffold boards had come loose.

Firefighters made the structure safe and left the scene at 9.06pm.
