The Eastbourne-based charity Hearing Link will be staging a charity cheese and wine event next week.

Professional wine taster, Ken Maitland and Eastbourne councillor, Caroline Ansell, were among those who took advantage of some pre-event sampling at the Seasons delicatessen in Sovereign Harbour.

They were joined by Seasons owners, Christine and Steve Nock and Lorraine Gailey, chief executive of Hearing Link.

The cheese and wine charity event takes place at Seasons on Wednesday, September 11 from 4pm to 6pm. The Mayor of Eastbourne, Cllr Mike Thompson, will be attending along with councillors and local businesses.

Caroline Ansell will be the guest auctioneer raising money from a number of items, while Ken Maitland from the Essential Wine School will be carrying out wine tasting.

If you would like to attend, call Joanne Oliver on 0300 111 1113 or email: jo.oliver@hearinglink.org
