LEWES will be celebrating Fireworks Night tomorrow (Saturday) with its traditional bonfire celebrations attractings thousands to the county town.

If you prefer to stay local for your fireworks then Tollgate School will be lighting up the sky this evening (Friday) with its bonfire event.

There will also be live music, a disco and refreshments available.

Gates open at 6.30pm and the fireworks can be seen half an hour later.

Tickets in advance cost £4.50 for adults, £2.50 children and a family ticket £10. On the door the cost is an extra 50p per or £12 for a family ticket.

St Thomas a Becket Catholic School in Tutts Barn Lane is also hosting its display this evening (Friday). Gates open at 6.30pm with the fireworks starting at 7.30pm.

There will be live music from the band Stray Dogs.

Tickets are £4.50 each, £16 for a family ticket of four and £20 for a family ticket of five. Pre-schoolers go free.

Polegate School will be hosting a Remembrance Sunday Firework Night on Sunday, November 13.

The night begins at 6pm, with fireworks at 7pm. Refreshments will be available.
