Eastbourne and District Cardiac Support Group - meeting report
THE group held its monthly meeting on May 27 at the Baptist Church Hall, Eldon Road.
Our chairman Mrs Mavis Mower, welcomed the members and our speaker for the afternoon Mr Bruzon, from the Citizens Advice Bureau, who gave a most interesting and informative talk. The C.A.B. first started in 1948, and was founded at Eastbourne in 1964.
After his talk, our members had quite a few questions to ask Mr Bruzon, and he answered them in a very professional way. The afternoon continued with tea, coffee and biscuits and our chairman thanked Mr Bruzon very much for a very interesting insight into the running of the C.A.B.
