HUNDREDS of thousands of people lined Eastbourne seafront this weekend for Airbourne.
Scouting for Girls performed to rapturous acclaim on the Saturday night (August 15).
“Forget “Brighton Rocks - Eastbourne rocks,” said Eastbourne Borough Council leader David Tutt on Twitter.
The Red Arrows flew again today at 4.30pm, as well as an RAF Battle of Britain memorial flight and an RAF Typhoon FGR4.
It was estimated on Twitter that around 600,000 people were on the seafront on Saturday night, with Visit Eastbourne saying there were ‘literally hundreds of thousands’ of people along the seafront.

Police have also launched a witness appeal after a fight broke out on the Western Lawns.
