Tomorrow’s (February 3) walks include a leisurely one, Polegate Perambulation, of two to three miles of pavement and Cuckoo Line.

NEW YEAR – New hobby? Singing is good for the health and can help banish the winter blues! The Downland Singers begin rehearsals at Trinity Church Hall, Coppice Avenue, Willingdon. We meet every Thursday evening from 7.30pm.

We would be very interested to welcome gentlemen in particular; our repertoire is varied, ranging from seasonal and traditional pieces to modern musicals.

COFFEE MORNING on Saturday, February 5, at Polegate Community Centre, Windsor Way, Polegate, is hosted by the Social Section. All welcome in the lounge from 10am.

SENIOR CITIZENS Monday Club has vacancies. If you fancy a game of Scrabble, rummy, crib or even dominoes, a cup of tea with a biscuit go along and have a chat with Doreen Squires. Despite the new regulations on retirement we welcome anyone over the age of 60 to come and join us. We meet at Polegate Community Centre in the lounge between 2pm and 4pm.
