A 20-year-old Hampden Park man and his driving instructor are celebrating after he passed with flying colours.
Niall Bailey, a landscape gardener , passed his test with no mistakes.
His driving instructor Jed Young taught him to drive in 20 hours of lessons.
Jed worked for Breeze for two years before setting up Jed’s Driving Force on his won.
He said, “Niall was one of my first people I taught so it was really nice to see him get 100 percent.
“I have been a driving instructor for three years and I have never known it.”
Jed explained Niall had shown promise since he started his lessons.
He added, “He had been riding motorbikes so he already had a lot of road sense.
“However, he hadn’t ever driven a car so it was just a case of giving him that extra knowledge he needed.”
A 100 per cent pass mark on the driving test is thought to be very rare.
He passed his test on Tuesday (November 13).
