BROADWAY UNITED CHURCH: Invite you to an afternoon of songs written by Stuart Townend and Keith and Kristyn Getty. Songs led by Mick Mulley and the St Aidan’s Praise Singers tomorrow, Saturday, at 3pm.

CHRISTMAS FAYRE: Tomorrow, Saturday, from 10am to noon at St Barnabas United Church, Kingfisher Drive, Langney, Eastbourne. Various stalls, raffle and tombola, bacon rolls with tea or coffee, home made cakes, greetings cards, bric-a-brac. All welcome.

SINGING FROM MEMORY: Next class takes place tomorrow, Saturday, at Wannock Village Hall from 2.15pm to 3.45pm at £4 per person. More information from Fiona 07896364615 or email [email protected]. There is also a meeting on December 17.

PEVENSEY TRANSPORT GROUP: Next meet on December 13 when our speaker is John Jones on Steam in South East Europe. Meetings are held at Westham Village Hall at 7.30pm. All welcome. More information from Tim Lawrence on 845108.

CHALK FARM: I am Rachael Bishop, General Manager for Chalk Farm LDC we are based in Coopers Hill, Willingdon. We are a charity that aims to give adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to receive training and employment within a realistic working hotel setting. We pride ourselves with providing a high quality and supportive learning environment Chalk Farm LDC (Learning Disabilities Centre) is run by the local charity EAPAG (Eastbourne Area Parents Action Group) and is a registered charity and an accredited training centre, based at a fully functional hotel and plant centre. We are also having our Christmas coffee morning on Thursday December 15 from 10.30am to 11.45pm. Rachael Bishop.

CHRISTMAS CAROLS: The parish council’s Christmas Carol evening takes place on Thursday evening December 15, on the Triangle, Lower Willingdon at 6pm to 8pm. Taking part are stall holders from Willingdon Triangle Traders, Some stalls on the Triangle and in Trinity Church Hall, where refreshments are available. Father Christmas will be visiting Wilingdon Library. All welcome.
