COFFEE MORNINGS: There are weekly coffee mornings with a book exchange at Dicker Hall 10.40am to 12noon every Thursday. Book Exchange or purchase 20p.

COMMUNITY SOLAR: Cuckmere Community Solar invites you to a community information drop-in event to find out about plans to build the first community owned solar farm in Sussex. This is at Dicker Village Hall, Coldharbour Road on Friday 9 October from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday 10 October from 9am to 12pm. Go along and meet the Cuckmere Community Solar Company and find out about this exciting project which, if approved, will be discretely located adjacent to the existing Berwick Solar Farm at Wick Street. The planning application should be live on the Wealden District Council web site by the time you read this. Full details at the event. There are many opportunities to be involved from helping to build bug hotels, choosing wild meadow grass, planting trees, becoming a shareholder and developing the criteria for the community fund. Community benefit is at the heart of this initiative, so as many people are needed to be involved as possible.
