BEDES SPORTS CAMPS: Open to all. Multi sports camps throughout the summer holidays for football on 10 to 12 August for 11 to 15 yrs, Hockey 17 to 19 August for 7 – 12 yrs. The venue is Bede’s Senior School. Please contact david.byrne@bedes.org for further details.

CRAFT FAIR: This weekend at Michelham Priory until Sunday 9 August from 10.30am to 5pm, the Sussex Guild Craft Fair of contemporary craft from local artists will be on show and for sale. Guild members will be showing their excellent and inspiring work in the Elizabethan barn and in marquees on the lawns. There will be craft demonstrations too, including blacksmithing, woodturning, embroidery and quilting together with several potters showing different aspects of their craft. You will discover spectacular examples of ceramics, textiles, jewellery, wood, glass, furniture and more. Most of the work can be purchased, or possibly specially commissioned. Michelham Priory is at Upper Dicker, Hailsham BN27 3QS.

COMPETITION: There is a competition to redesign the village green at Upper Dicker. If you are interested in taking part then contact David or Sue Simpson at divadeus@gmail.com for an application form.

FAMILY FUN DAY: Traditional family fun, children’s activities, teddy bear’s picnic and more on Wednesday at Michelham Priory, Upper Dicker, Hailsham, East Sussex, BN27 3QS from 10.30am to 5pm. Normal admission applies.
