CHRISTMAS LECTURE: With strong artistic theme is to be given by local art expert Kay Blackburn on Tuesday at 2.30pm. The lecture is call Nativity - What Next and the works she will be discussing include some famous artists of the Renaissance period plus one or two relatively unknown but imaginative artists as well. This will be held at The Chapel Rooms, St Peter’s Church, Belgrave Road. The event is open to all and as well as some tasty art there will be mince pies and Christmas biscuits. Entry will be £5 which includes refreshments.

HEARING BUS: The East Sussex Hearing Resource Centre with Adult Social Care mobile information and advice service for deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people will be visiting Broad Street from 10.30am to 3.30pm on Thursday January 7. The bus is accessible to wheelchair users and representatives will be available to provide individual information and advice on all aspects of hearing loss.
