WORLD’S BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING: is happening near you today Friday! There are many venues throughout the town hosting this great cause for Macmillan Cancer Support. Look out for poster’s for a venue near you and here is a few which has come to my notice. St. Thomas More Church Hall, Sutton Road 10 am - 12 noon for coffee and cakes then 12 noon - 2 pm Lunch. There will also be stalls, tombola and raffle. Bishopstone Parish Hall, Bishopstone Village 10.30 am - 12.30 pm for coffee and homemade cakes, there will also be a raffle. Blue Room, 22 Clinton Place 9 am - 7.30 pm. Home made cakes and drinks on sale.

ORGAN RECITAL: at St. Leonard’s Church, Church Street on Saturday 26th September which is part of Lunchtime Concert Season starting at 1 pm. Mark Wardell is a fellow of the Royal College of Organists he was Assistant Organist bat Chichester Cathedral until 2009, serving for five years as Director of Music at the Cathedral Choir’s School. His work in Chichester involved him in numerous live BBC broadcasts, recordings and the Southern Cathedrals Choirs Festival. He has also played in many parts of the world. The concerts are free with a retiring collection.

Pilgrimage: UNITED BENEFICE of St. Peter’s Blatchington and St. Andrew’s Bishopstone are organising a pilgrimage to Walsingham in April 2016 for more information pick up a leaflet from either church. Bookings must be in by 30th September.
