COFFEE MORNING: At Seven Sisters, Alfriston Road today, Friday, from 10 am to noon in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Enjoy coffee and cakes.

GALA OPENING: To start the new season for Seaford Community Cinema tonight, Friday, at 7.30pm. Showing is Freight cert 15 and will be introduced by Sussex based director William Nicholson plus post show and Q&A. Advance tickets can be obtained from Tourist Information Centre, Church Street.

FLOWER FESTIVAL: At St Leonard’s Church starting today, Friday, through to Monday from 10am to 5pm except Sunday which will be noon to 3.30pm. Come and view the magnificent floral displays.

OPEN GARDEN: At Glyndebourne on Thursday from 1.30pm to 4pm. An opportunity to view these gardens as they are usually only accessible to opera ticket holders. Proceeds to Family Support Work. Refreshments available.

COUNCIL MEETING: On Thursday, 7pm at Seaford Town Council, 37 Church Street.
