EASTBOURNE ASTRONOMICAL SOCIETY: will be presenting Stargazing for Everyone tomorrow, Saturday, at the Redoubt Fortress from 5pm to 8pm. The Society will provide a family friendly tour of the night sky designed for people of all ages, including those with no previous knowledge. An indoor presentation will be given on what can be seen in the sky at night and there will be an opportunity to look at the moon and planets through an Astronomical Telescope on the Gun Platform. Members of the society will point out the constellations, and anyone with their own telescope or even binoculars are welcome to take them along. Entry is free and you are advised to wrap up warmly.
