HOW MANY HOURS IN SPITS?: is the title of the next lecture in the Carry On Curator series at the Redoubt Fortress and will be on Tuesday August 18, when curator Damian Etherington will speak about Eastbourne and the RAF, plus the story of one man’s life in RAF. Visitors will be able to handle, talk about and discover the hidden stories of the objects that are not normally accessible to the public. THE RNLI LOCAL BRANCH: which meets regularly in the West Dean Suite of the Langham Hotel, takes a break during the month of August and meetings will resume on Friday September.11 at 10am, for a 10.30am start, when Brian Freeland will speak about Clarkson Rose.
BOURNE TO SING: Community Choir is currently recruiting new singers. The rock/pop choir is open to all and is based at the Leaf Hall in Seaside.
