COFFEE MORNING: The coffee morning tomorrow, Saturday, at Polegate Community Centre, is hosted by is Centre Fund Raising. All welcome in the lounge from 10am to noon.

WALKS: Tomorrow, Saturday, Crowlink Circle, 2.5 miles with Marjorie B. Meet at Crowlink NT car park 10.05am. Bus 12, 9.43am Terminus Road, Stand J to Friston Pond. Or a longer walk, No Soggy Bottoms Here, 5 miles with Bo J. Meet at YHA East Dean Road 9.45am, bus 12X, at 9.33am Terminus Road, Stand J. On Wednesday, Love, Love me Do, You Know I Love You, 10 miles with Glyn R. Meet at Eastbourne Railway Station for 10am train to Rye Railway Station where walk starts at 11am. Dry lunch. Optional tea at end. Fields, stiles and lanes. 3.55pm train back to Eastbourne.

PAINTING CLASS: If you are on the waiting list to join a painting class, then look no further, come and join me at St Johns Parish Hall, Meads, on Wednesday mornings from 11am to 1pm. Telephone Catriona on 07758367479 to book your place, or just turn up.

BOOKS FOR SALE: At Polegate Windmill on Sunday from 10am to 4pm. This sales includes newsletters, books relate to history, archaeology, natural history, cats, gardening, horse riding and architecture. This will take place at Polegate Windmill, Park Croft.

TOY FAIR: Toy and Collectors Fair by Eastbourne Histoiric Vehicle Club takes place on Sunday at Polegate Community Centre, from 10am onwards. We hold meetings on the fourth Thursday of the month at Langney Sports Club, Priory Lane, Eastbourne. New members and guests are welcome. More info from Dave one 843186.

MEN’S CLUB: Next meeting on Monday in St Johns Church, High Street. Our speaker is Martin Povey. Tea from 2.30pm, meeting starts at 3pm.

SENIOR MOMENTS: An event for older people is taking place on April 8 from 10am to 2pm. Bringing local organizations that offer support and advise together, attending are various organizations including East Sussex Fire and Rescue, Cuckmere Community Bus, Polegate Community Association, Friends Against Scams, and many more. Free tea and cake through the day, lunch on first come first served basis. Held at St Johns Church Hall.
