PEVENSEY COURT HOUSE: An amazing discover hidden behind old rendering. When the old render was being striped off to replace with the proper lime render and white wash, as some of the material fell away there behind was an old window, hidden from view by layers of plaster. There is speculation it may even be Tudor! Strange to think the last person who looked through this might have been in the reign of Henry VIII. Experts will of course be coming to take a look at this mystery window and hopefully fill in some more details. Whatever happened the window will be left uncovered, long vanished view, but a glimpse into the past.
