THE PEVENSEY AND WESTHAM Historical Society: will be holding their next meeting on Monday October 3 in Westham Village Hall starting at 7.30 pm when there will be “Strange goings on in the Sussex borough of Winchelsea”, described by Malcolm Pratt. Normal entry fees will apply to this meeting i.e. 25 p for members and £1 for visitors. Refreshments will be available.

CATS PROTECTION: WILL BE holding a Quiz night on Saturday September 24: doors open at 6.30 pm with a start at 7 pm. All are welcome to this event which will be raising money to support the work that the organisation does.

Coffee Morning: Everybody is invited to Manor Park Surgery on Friday September 30 when they will be joining in the World’s Largest Coffee Moring in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support. This is being organised by the surgery but will be held in St John’s Hall, Polegate from 10 am to 12 noon. Information about well being will be available as well as the usual refreshments.

THE WESTHAM EVENING WI: will be holding a Quiz Night on Saturday October 8, in Westham Village Hall starting at 7.30 pm. £5 per ticket including a Ploughman’s Supper (take along your own drinks). Quiz tables will be of 6 persons (maximum of 8). There will be a Raffle and Prizes. All proceeds of the evening will be in aid of the fund for the Defibrillator being purchased for Westham Village.
