INCREDIBLE EDIBLE: The local group in Pevensey and Westham is now a year old. In that time they have planted five Fruit Trees in Anderida Park (some of which even managed to produce fruit this autumn). They have taken part in Community events including a stall at the Magna Carta Market, replanted Troughs in the Market Square and stripped off the verge in part of the Car Park to plant herbs and plants which will provide a good source of nectar for local wildlife. They are now about to sign a license for a large plot of land in Pevensey to be the site of their latest project ‘Pevensey Apiary’ where a local Beekeeper will manage ten hives and provide a source of local honey.
