CHARITY MARKET: Tomorrow, Saturday, the market will be organised by Peacehaven Players.

COFFEE MORNINGS: This week the coffee mornings will be organised by: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Sussex Pet Rescue; Thursday, Wendy Veck; Friday September 9, Church of the Ascension.

COMMUNITY CAFÉ: Now open six mornings, in the foyer, Community House, Meridian Centre. Tea, coffee, egg, bacon, sausage sandwiches and cooked breakfasts available. Run by local charities. Monday and Wednesday morning the community café is organised by Sussex Pet Rescue

KNOW DEMENTIA: Memory moments café. Everyone welcome, especially those with memory problems and their family supporter. Every Friday from 10am to 1pm, Anzac Room, Community House, Meridian Centre.

BINGO: As well as monthly Friday Bingo evenings the Mayor will run Monthly Wednesday afternoon sessions. The next Wednesday afternoon session will be on September 21 at 2pm, and the next Friday evening session will be held on 19th August at 7pm both at Community House.

COUNCIL MEETINGS: On Tuesday the Leisure and Amenities committee meet in the Anzac Room at 7.30pm.

CINEMA: The next film at the Peacehaven cinema will be Florence Foster Jenkins on Wednesday September 21 at 7.30pm, Main Hall, Community House.

GET FIT: Free four week summer outdoor gym challenge at the Green Gym, Meridian Park, Peacehaven Every Thursday until September 8, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Pop along and learn some tips and techniques with a qualified personal trainer t enable you to use the free gym. To book your space ring 01273 516032

WRESTLING: Special offer for all wrestling enthusiasts. The next spectacular at Peacehaven is on Saturday October 22 in aid of the Mayor’s local project fund. The first 40 tickets sold from the Information Office, Meridian Centre will be at a special introductory price of just £9 per adult and £8 for concessions, family tickets (two adults two children under 16 years) £34. Hurry this offer won’t last.

FUN CHARITY WALK: In aid of the Mayor of Peacehaven’s local charities. This event will take place on Friday October 7 at 10am, further details to follow, but if you are interested in joining in please contact deborahdonovan@peacehavencouncil.co.uk or 01273 585493

OUTING: A message from Peacehaven Horticultural Society. We are organising a day trip to Wisley Gardens Saturday September 10 from Peachaven Meridian Centre leaves 9.30am and returns approximately 5.30pm. Tickets cost £14 each. Open to non-members.
