BURN’S NIGHT: Tickets at £12.50 are on sale from the Information Office. The evening, in aid of Brighton Housing Trust (for the homeless) guarantees an evening to remember. To be held in the Main Hall, Community House, Meridian Centre. The evening includes Scottish Dancers, Piper and a three course meal. Mayor, Cllr. PEACEHAVEN ON SPECIAL OFFER: ‘The Company’s’ production of Peacehaven on Special Offer written by Suzi Hopkins and directed by Stephen Israel will be staged on Saturday February 27 at 7pm, in the Main Hall, Community House, Meridian Centre. Tickets priced at £6.50 are on sale now from the Information Office.
COFFEE MORNINGS: The Sussex Pet Rescue group will be operating Peacehaven Town Council’s community café from Monday through to Friday January 15 from 9am to noon. Pop along for a bacon sandwich, coffee, soup or cakes.
CHRISTMAS RAFFLE: The following prizes have not been claimed: red tickets, 105, 87 and green tickets 53 and 159. If not claimed by January 11 the prizes will be used as raffle prizes for the Mayor’s next event. The Mayor was delighted that £1300 was raised at the Christmas Market and thanks everyone for visiting.
AGM: Meridian Mature Citizens Forum’s AGM to be held on Thursday at the Meridian Centre (10am to 12.30pm) in the Anzac Room. Main speaker Katy Bourne Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner.
