CAROL CONCERT: This year’s community carol concert will be held on Wednesday December 9, in the main hall, community house, Meridian centre. Tickets for this free popular event can be obtained from the information office on Thursday November 26 on a first come first served basis.

HARVEST FESTIVAL SERVICE: The Mayor of Peacehaven, Cllr. Robert Robertson will be holding a harvest festival service at the Evangelical Free Church tomorrow, Saturday, at 6pm. Residents are welcome to attend the service. Any food donations will be sent to Brighton Housing Trust (for the homelessness).

MATINEE MELODIES: Tickets are available from the Information Office at £8 for the show on Thursday December 17 at 2pm in Community House, Main Hall.

CHRISTMAS MARKET: On Saturday December 12 Peacehaven Town Council will be holding a Christmas market from 9am to 3pm in the Mall and Community House. Father and Mrs Christmas will be visiting for this day only.

BURN’S NIGHT: A quick mention that Peacehaven Town Council in collaboration with ‘Dine’ and BHT are organising a Burn’s Night on Saturday January 23. Tickets will be available at £12.50 from today from the Information office. The evening will include Scottish dancing, a three course meal, Piper and the Haggis ceremony by the Town Crier. A full evening’s entertainment guaranteed.

BI ELECTION: November 12 in Peacehaven North Ward, saw a 20 percent turnout at the polling station with 670 voters. Ballot votes were recorded as: Racheal Coles Conservative 260; Nicky Easton Labour 188; Sue Griffiths Independent 111; Brian William Griffiths UKIP 110. Ballot papers rejected, one. Rachael Coles was therefore successfully elected as the Councillor for North Ward on behalf of the Conservative Party.

MEETING: Policy and Finance committee will meet on Tuesday in the Anzac room at 7.30pm.

SATURDAY CHARITY MARKET: Tomorrow’s market will be organised by the Peacehaven Recycling group, 9am to noon, Meridian Centre, Community House Main Hall.

COFFEE MORNINGS: At Community House. Tuesday: Harlequins Dance and Drama, Thursday Seahaven Scouts, Friday, November 27, Mencap.
