Eastbourne Choral Society : is hosting a 'Sing and Discover Handel's Messiah Day' on Saturday 13th February in All Saints Church, Grange Road, Eastbourne 10.30 '“ 4.30. Cost £10. The guest speaker will be the eminent writer and broadcaster Richard Wigmore and singing will be led by the choir's musical director, John Hancorn. This will be an interesting and enjoyable day for anyone who is interested in choral music whether as a singer or a listener. Sussex Folk : The next meeting of the Eastbourne Association of Sussex Folk will be on February 15 at 7.30 p.m. when Derek Legg will be talking about the Eastbourne Bonfire Society. The venue is the Church Hall of St Saviour and St Peter, South Street. New members and visitors are welcome at meetings and should ring Denise on 763163 or Jill on 737073.

Townswomen’s Guild: The next meeting of the Devonshire Park Townswomen’s Guild will be at All Saints Church Hall, Grange, at 7.15 p.m. on February 17. Cercle Francais :The next meeting of the Cercle Francais d’Eastbourne will be on Friday 19 February at All Saints Church Hall, Grange Road, at 7.15pm. The speaker will be John Dixon on “Les Chemins de fer en France”
