Guild meeting: The next meeting of the Devonshire Park Townswomen’s Guild will be in the lounge of All Saints Church Hall, Grange Road. This will be at 7.15 p.m. on 21st October. David Barratt of Kingdom Way Trust will be giving a talk on Eastbourne Winter Night Shelter. New members are welcome and should ring Janet on 644637 or Beth on 640499.

Fr Jeffery Gunn: is retiring as Vicar of St Saviour’s Church and Rural Dean of Eastbourne.
There will be a special Choral Evensong and Benediction at St Saviour’s Church South Street on Sunday 18th October at 4pm. Refreshments will follow. Everyone Welcome.

The next meeting: of the Cercle Francais d’Eastbourne will be on Friday 23 October 2015 at All Saints Church Hall, Grange Road at 7:15pm. The speaker will be Joel Binet on “Toulouse, au present, au passe, au futur.”

Autumn exhibition: of local art in aid of the Da Vinci Surgical Robot for prostrate cancer treatment at Eastbourne District Hospital will be held at St Andrews School. Preview Friday, 23rd October from 6.00-8.00pm. Saturday, 24th and Sunday 25th Octobetr from 10.00-4.00pm. Admission free with an informal painting demonstration by a local artist at 2.30pm on Saturday, 24th.
