CHURCH SERVICES: All church services will be at Herstmonceux whilst building works take place at Wartling. The next services at All Saints will therefore be this Sunday 8am (the Wartling service) Holy Communion (BCP), 10am Holy Communion (CW), 3.30pm Reid Hall, Messy Church.

COFFEE MORNING: On Monday in the Great Space at Herstmonceux Health Centre 10am to noon. Open to all. Go along for a cup of coffee or tea, cake, quiz and a talk by Trading Standards on scams and cold callers.

WINDMILL FUNDRAISER: Tomorrow, Saturday, the band Recycled will be playing 50s and 60s music at Herstmonceux Village Hall. Tickets are just £12 including a ploughman’s supper and all proceeds will go to the continued maintenance of the windmill at Windmill Hill. Tickets can be reserved by email (admin@windmillhillwindmill.org).

WALKING GROUP: On Sunday Karen and Andy (833040) are leading a walk around Iden of about four miles followed by visit to Rye Scallop Festival for lunch.

WINES OF THE WORLD: There is an Organic and Biodynamic Wines of the World event at Lime Cross Nursery on Thursday. Join Keely and Helen for an evening of wine, laughter, food and fun. Sample delicious organic and biodynamic wines and discover more about production methods and food and wine matching in a fun and informal environment. £20 per person, includes generous pouring of six wines and canapés to match. RAY AND SHELDON: The over 60s club meets next Friday February 24 at the village hall from 2pm. There is a talk by Judith K-B on The History of a Village Band. Enquiries to Ann on 441244.
