The planning application for the JPK Project to purchase and build on the site of the Edgmont Evangelical Church in Old Town was due to be heard by Eastbourne Borough Council planning committee today Tuesday (October 2).
The Macmillan coffee morning organised by Mary Glyn-Jones at her home in Ratton raised £200. Mary later received some donations, bringing the total up to £237 for the charity.

Dons Golf Day: Willingdon Football Club Golf Society Day takes place on Friday October 5.
The first tee off is at 1pm and the last tee off is at 2pm. Just turn up by 1pm and if you are on your own, you will be matched with a partner against another pair.

The Harvest Festival is being celebrated at St Mary’s Church Willingdon on Sunday October 7 when parishioners are asked to bring non-perishable items which will then be passed on to Ann Ward to help with families in need and distributed through the Diocesan Family Support work.
Strictly Come Dancing starts again on Wednesday October 9 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
