THE Friendship Club meets on Monday April 16 at the United Reformed Church. A talk will be given by Canine Partners from 2.30pm.

WILL Gage, from the Eastbourne Association of Sussex Folk, presents Steaming Through Sussex at St Saviours Church Hall at 7.30pm on April 16.

ON TUESDAY April 17 the Friendship Hour talk will be on the Eastbourne Riots, starting at 2.30pm at the Central Methodist Church.

ON WEDNESDAY April 18 the Devonshire Park Townwomen’s Guild hosts an open day with wine and cheese tasting at 7.15pm. The event will be held at the All Saints Church Hall, Grange Road.

On TUESDAY April 19 singer songwriter Gareth Hewitt presents an Songs and Hymns of Liberation at St Elizabeth’s Church, Victoria Drive. Tickets are £5.50 including a drink. Call 325478 or email: ghconcert@aol.co.uk

EASTBOURNE Gallery of Contemporary Art - Linchpin Gallery, Studio 3, 67a Willowfield Road - has an exhibition April 5-28, Wednesday-Saturday, 11am-4.30pm.

ON Saturday mornings, for children aged 4-5, Soccer for Tots in the Sports Hall, University of Brighton, Denton Road, with Qualified Staff CRB checked. For ages 5 -13 there is a football coaching. call 730467.

EASTBOURNE Seniors Club in Cornfield Road has Computer Classes on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Although they have regular volunteers for teaching, they welcome more. Call 728157.
