IT IS intended that Stone Cross Mill will still open to the public on the planned date of Sunday, April 1. The Mill Store has had a make-over and now looks completely different.

The Trustees look forward to welcoming members and visitors to a fully-restored working windmill, part of the industrial heritage of the area.

The Mill will open 2pm-5pm each Sunday until the end of September, on most Bank Holidays and also during Mills Weekend (Saturday and Sunday, May 12/13, 10am to 4pm) and during Heritage Weekend (Saturday and Sunday, September 8/9 10am-4pm).

There is no charge for entry to the Mill (the guided tour is also free) but they welcome any donations.

THE Eastbourne Organ and Keyboard Club will be holding their normal Tuesday evening event on April 3 - doors open 6.30 pm and the show starts 7.30 pm. Michael Wooldridge will be in concert. Refreshments are always available. Entrance is £4 for members, £6 visitors. Further information from either Charles on 01323 762411 or Peter on 01323 731514
